Hi, I’m Evan.

Before becoming a massage therapist, I yearned for a job that spoke to me on a personal level, where I could have passion for my work and contribute to the community. As with most things, the best lessons are learned through hardship. I experienced a double fracture on my right foot and, working alongside Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Personal Trainers, Nutritionists and an Ayurvedic expert, I was able to really grasp the kind of homework required to achieve real wellness. It took a village of mentors to help me understand that people can in fact ‘get better’, no matter the age.

I graduated from Florida College of Natural Health in 2010 with 7500 hours of educational training. My specializations include Orthopedic massage, and I am committed to furthering my professional education via hands-on skill building experiences with other Master Bodyworkers.

With these experiences in mind, my goal is to create a space where I can impart what life has taught me and integrate that into the services I offer. What you get is a bodywork experience that is thoughtful and fully personalized to help you along your days, and create a safe space where you can let go and unwind from the daily grind.

My Approach

Pec work is a huge part of treating bodies with weakened and underused back muscles which are common among people who sit for long periods of time.

Each session starts with a personalized consult to build rapport and discuss your goals for bodywork. This introductory meeting helps to assess what type of bodywork is best suited for you and over time, we continue to communicate about your personal progress. With 14 years of experience in a multitude of massage therapy techniques, I offer many different types of massages that can be tailored to fit your needs.

There are also additional techniques and tools that could be suggested by me to help improve areas of chronic tension, stagnation, or joints that have very restricted range of motion. Sessions that are longer, such as the 90 minute and 2 hour sessions, will offer these additional services to you at no extra charge.

Self-care is a big part of a client’s on-going relationship to their body. A lot of my work is influenced by the power of mindfulness and reconnecting with the somatic self. The perpetual state of disembodiment is perpetuated by a myriad of different factors and my intention is always to help educate my clients and support them with valuable information that will help them along that somatic journey.
