FAQs

Do you have massage packages?

Yes I do! You can select your desired package on my booking page. Once you purchase your package, you should receive a code you can use when you make your desires appointments. All packages are at a 5% discounted rate.

Do you sell Gift Certificates?

Of course! You can find Gift Certificates on the booking page. If you would like a nice, printed version of the Gift Certificate mailed to you, please feel free to email me with your name and address and I’ll have it mailed out to you right away!

Do you do Outcalls?

When my schedule allows. Please contact me for details! Additional fees may apply.

Do you perform assisted stretching? What should I wear?

Yes I do! If it is beneficial to the client to have certain areas of the body stretched, I will do so with the client’s consent. You will always be draped when stretches are performed but if you want to wear loose-fitted clothing, that is always recommended for a stretch session. You are more than welcomed to request stretching if that is a preference of yours!

How often should I be booking massages?

My suggestion is 1 massage a month at minimum, but your decision to book regular massage sessions depends on your lifestyle and how often your body actually needs that kind of maintenance. I personally get 2 massages a month as that is what works best for managing my chronic tension but it is different for everyone!

Do you do chair massage?

Is there free parking available at your premises?

Yes! There is plenty of free parking both on the street and in the parking lot behind the building. You may choose to park in the parking lot (entrance on Wellington Street), on Pleasant Street, or on the side of the building.

Is your space LGBTQIA friendly?

Constellation Bodywork is fortunate to be part of the lgbtq+ community in Arlington. The space is open and safe for everyone.

Do you do any other types of Massages than the ones listed?

My education encompasses a broad range of both Eastern and Western modalities. Feel free to ask if you have one in mind!

Do you have a late cancellation fee?

Yes. It’s understandable that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, therefore we respectfully request at least 24 hour notice for cancellations. Cancelling your appointment within the 24 hour period will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. No Shows will be charged 100% of the service amount.


Policies

    • Prices are subject to change without prior notification.

    • If you arrive 15 minutes after your appointment was scheduled to begin or later, I have the right to finish your service on the time it was scheduled to finish to ensure that it does not interfere with the next scheduled appointment.

    • If you act inappropriate before, or during a scheduled massage, I have the legal right to terminate the session immediately.

    • All children under the age of 18 are classified as minors and must have a parent/guardian signature on their intake form. All children under the age of 12 must have a parent present during their session.

    • All massages cancelled 24 hours in advance will be fully refunded.

    • Massage appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time may be charged 50% of the total service price. If you wish to reschedule your appointment, please email me at abodyfullofstars@gmail.com

    • No shows (scheduled clients who do not call or show up) will be charged 100% of the total service price.

    • Purchased Massage Packages and Gift Certificates are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.

    • Gift certificates and massage packages do not expire and are transferable as long as the code assigned to said purchase is present when said person books their appointment (under "code"). These codes MUST be present or the client will be charged the full amount of their service.

    • All session times include 5-10 minutes for a consultation and conclude with five minutes for redressing and post-consultation/recommendations. This is to ensure our consult informs me on the best approach to your concerns as well as provide you with 1-1 feedback after the massage is over. If you do not wish for a consult, please feel free to let the practitioner know.

    • Constellation Bodywork uses email for account and appointment communications, as well as marketing purposes. Clients will be given the opportunity to opt-in to our Subscriber list while filling out the intake form. You can also subscribe via our website.

  • I am fully vaccinated and boosted. Covid-19 measures are taken seriously to keep both parties safe.

    • Facemasks are only required if you believe you are coming down with flu or cold-like symptoms. This is obviously not mandatory, but it is appreciated.

    • If you are experiencing any symptoms associated with Covid-19, please reschedule or cancel your appointment and book your session at the appropriate time five days after a negative covid test.

    • If you feel like you are coming down with cold/flu-like symptoms, please do not book a massage as massage is NOT recommended and could aggravate symptoms! It would also be a courtesy as not to get the massage practitioner sick.

    • Everything in the office is cleaned on a daily basis and after every session.

    • The office is equipped with a portable HEPA filter to maintain air in the treatment area sanitized. EPA certified products are used to sanitize office.

    • If you would like the Massage Therapist to be masked during your office visit, please feel free to make the request. Your safety and health is of utmost importance and no offense will be taken with your request.
